Summary
"The Green House" is located amongst a host of ancient oak trees, some of which are more than 10 feet in circumference. It is within walking distance of our several very nice swimming, tubing and fishing areas with limestone cliffs and crystal clear water (and rock bottoms) on the 6-8 acre Miller Creek lake system.
"The Green House" includes 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, sleeps 10 people comfortably and 12 people with the use of the 2 sofas. Just like our other homes, you need only to pack your overnight bag. We have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable.
Rates & Restrictions
The nightly rate for 2 people is $290 per night. For each additional guest (over the age of 2), its $30 per night per person up to a max of 12 people (so if you have 12 people staying in the home the nightly rate would be $590 plus tax.) We have a two night minimum (except three nights on major holiday dates and Spring Break). Click on Rates & Policies for additional information.
If you wish to bring your dog we have accommodations for them as well. The back yard is fenced for your dog. We ask that you keep them off the furniture and beds and you are required to bring a crate to house them when you are away from the house. Click on Rates & Policies for additional information.

Detailed Information
Unlike most ranch houses, "The Green House" has 3 separate floor levels. It has the loft, a basement bar/TV room and a main floor with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, vaulted ceilings, a full kitchen, a washer/dryer located in the detached garage, central air/heat and a great fire pit to sit and enjoy the stars. The house sleeps 12 people if you use the two sofas in the house (all linens are provided.) The master bedroom has a king size bed and a full en-suite bath. The other two bedrooms have a shared bath between them (one of these bedrooms has two queen beds and the other bedroom has two bunk beds (each bunk bed has a twin over twin)).
The kitchen is furnished with coffeemaker, pots, pans, stove, refrigerator, microwave, glassware, dishes, silverware, linens, serving bowls, cooking utensils, misc. spices, knife block, toaster, etc.
The living area has vaulted wood ceilings, leather furnishings, and a large flat panel TV for your enjoyment. You can put your feet up and read a good book, watch satellite TV (movie channels included) or head into town and rent a DVD to watch on the television. There is no telephone but there is an internet connection in the house if really must stay in touch with those everyday hassles!
Above the living area is a loft with a satellite TV (movie channels included), a DVD player and pillows for the kids to have a place to hang out. The basement has leather furnishings, a bar, a refrigerator, a flat panel satellite TV (movie channels included) to watch "the game" and a table to play your board games or cards.
The backyard is fenced and has a large fire pit with "rocking" chairs that you can sit in and enjoy a great fire. There's plenty of firewood on the ranch. There's also a picnic table that you can use to have a meal outside. In addition, we also have a charcoal grill for outdoor cooking.
During your stay you have access to the entire ranch (both tracts), which has numerous springs, over 4,000 feet of clear rock-bottom creek to swim and tube in (and including a unique creekside hot tub and waterfall grotto), 8 ponds to fish, a seasonal waterfall and miles of trails for riding ATVs, bike riding, hiking or horseback riding; as well as the swimming pool and hot tub located at the Arc de Texas®.
